Relief Reach Out
Since the 7th of May, 2023, Our Project: Relief Reach Out has taken centre stage. The past four months have been a challenging one, to say the least. Here's a quick look at what the last four months have been for team Octave Foundation.
Wari
Stories from the pages of life.
Rediscovering the art of storytelling for adults and for children. A one of its kind curated show of fascinating stories translated and adapted from different time zones and cultures performed by various artists. Wari is a curated storytelling production created by Nicky Chandam and Anuja Jaiman. The word Wari means story in Manipuri language.
Leipung
Leipung is a platform for exploring the art of storytelling and connecting people through the art. Select performers are invited to join the theatre productions of Octave Foundation. From the year 2017,till 2019 Leipung was held monthly at The Oxford Bookstore, Connaught Place, New Delhi.
Supper Theatre
Supper Theatre is a performance space created in collaboration with Club Patio, Gurgaon. An amicable space for both the artist and the audience to enjoy the performance while having supper.
Commissioned Works from Instituto Cervantes,
Nueva Delhi
Since 2016, we have recieved comissioned works from Instituto Cervantes,year on year to present stories of Spanish language adapted for Indian audience.
Makhol
In collaboration with Nachom Arts Foundation, Manipur, Makhol is a space for artists to have a candid conversation about their journey as artists. The first episode was held at RKCS Museum, Imphal. After the pandemic, the platform has moved online.
This is a small initiative from the Octave Foundation to capture the preamble to the constitution of India in the voices of citizens in different languages.
